Why volunteer at Encounter

Community Centre?

Volunteers are the heart of the Encounter Community Centre. Our volunteers come from all walks of life with diverse backgrounds, interests and a lifetime of lived experience and skills.

Volunteers experience social interaction, use their skills and knowledge to help others and provide meaningful activities within a friendly atmosphere and culture. Many people have been volunteers at the Encounter Community Centre for more than twenty years in a wide range of roles.
